This field is made with pipe cleaners. First I covered a board with caulking – I use brown acrylic as it paints really well. Then I softly pressed in the pipe cleaners in evenly spaced rows.
Next I painted the field brown and the edges where grass will go green.
Next I drybrushed the brown with a dull yellow to highlight the field and the pipe cleaners and began adding flock to the pipe cleaners.
